On the meeting of the Consul General of Belarus R.Varankou with the Chairperson of the People’s Council of Ho Chi Minh City

On September 6, 2022, the Consul General of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, Ruslan Varankou, met with the Chairperson of the People’s Council of Ho Chi Minh City, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Nguyen Thi Le.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on topical issues of Belarusian-Vietnamese interregional cooperation, primarily in the trade, economic and humanitarian areas.

The Sides paid particular attention to the mutual exchange of visits of regional delegations to participate in major international initiatives in both countries.

Chairperson Nguyen Thi Le noted the great potential in the development of bilateral relations and expressed confidence that the Belarusian Mission in Ho Chi Minh City will become an important bridge between the regions of Belarus and this city.
