On participation in the opening of the 5th session of the 15th convocation of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

On May 22, 2023, Ambassador Vladimir Borovikov took part in the grand opening of the 5th session of the 15th convocation of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Nguyen Phu Trong, President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Trinh, Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue, former and current high-ranking party and government officials of Vietnam, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam Do Van Chien, deputies, members of the government, leaders and representatives of the diplomatic corps were present in the Session hall of the Parliament.

The agenda of the session includes issues of supreme oversight of the mobilization, management and use of resources serving the prevention and control of COVID-19, the implementation of health policies and laws, etc. It is expected that the deputies of the National Assembly of the 15th convocation will consider and adopt 8 bills and 3 draft resolutions during the session.
