Ambassador of Belarus Uladzimir Baravikou participates in a meeting of the leadership of the Belaya Rus Party and the Committee for External Relations of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party

On March 18, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou took part in an online meeting between Chair of the Belaya Rus Party Olga Chemodanova and Head of the External Relations Committee of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Bounleua Phandanouvong.

In his remarks, the Belarusian Ambassador noted the positive dynamics of Belarus-Lao relations based on traditional friendship, trust, and mutual assistance. He emphasized the importance of implementing the agreements reached at the highest and senior levels, as well as the decisions of the 4th session of the Belarus-Laos Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation, held in September 2025 in Vientiane, primarily in trade and economic sphere.

“People-to-people diplomacy” was highlighted as an important and promising form of cooperation, particularly through political parties and non-governmental organizations.
