Ambassador of Belarus Uladzimir Baravikou participates in the meeting of the heads of the Belarusian Society for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the Vietnamese Union of Friendship Organizations

On March 22, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou took part in the meeting of the Chairwoman of the Belarusian Society for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries Nina Ivanova with the President of the Vietnamese Union of Friendship Organizations Phan Anh Son, which was held via video conference. The event was also attended by the Ambassador of Vietnam to Belarus Nguyen Van Ngu and the Chairman of the Vietnam-Belarus Friendship Society Nguyen Tuan Phong.

The parties confirmed their interest in further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the spirit of traditional friendship, trust and mutual understanding between the countries. Underlined was the importance of public diplomacy for strengthening interstate ties and people-to-people contacts. A number of specific activities are planned for joint implementation in the near term.

Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou in his remarks confirmed readiness to render all possible assistance to expanding and strengthening interaction between the countries on the public diplomacy track.
