Ambassador of Belarus Uladzimir Baravikou attends the “Future of ASEAN 2024” forum

On 23 April 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou attended the forum “Future of ASEAN 2024”.

In their keynote statements, the Prime Ministers of Vietnam and Laos outlined promising areas of ASEAN development, stressed the importance of multilateral approaches to addressing the contemporary problems, as well as developing mutually beneficial cooperation with regional and global organizations and partner countries.

The event saw the presence of about 500 high-level representatives of some ASEAN member states, the leadership of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other ministries and agencies, provincial People's Committees, expert and analytical community, diplomatic corps.

On the sidelines, Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou had a brief exchange of views with a number of high-ranking representatives of Vietnamese government agencies and heads of diplomatic missions on some international and bilateral agenda issues.
