The main export items are:
♦ potash fertilizers;
♦ electric equipment for internal combustion engines;
♦ liquid crystal devices.
Textiles and footwear are main items of Belarusian imports from Laos.
The Belarusian-Lao Joint Commission on bilateral cooperation has been established. The Chairman of the Board of JSC «Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus» Mr. Alexander Egorov and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Planning and Investment Mr. Khamjane Wongphosi are its Co-chairs. The 3rd meeting of the Commission was held in Minsk in July 2017.
