Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou participates in a meeting at the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam

On September 3, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou took part in a meeting of Major General Leonid Kasinsky, Assistant Minister of Defense for Ideological Work in the Armed Forces — Head of the Directorate of Ideological Work of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus with Army General Trinh Van Quyet, Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnamese People's Army.

Discussed were topical issues of dialogue between the two countries with a focus on the military-political component of cooperation.

The meeting was held under the visit by Major General Leonid Kasinsky to Hanoi from August 31 to September 4, 2025 to participate in the festive events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of independence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
