Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou takes part in the events of the visit of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Anatoli Sivak

On April 1, 2025, Uladzimir Baravikou took part in the 16th meeting of the Belarus-Vietnam Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

Under the Chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Anatoli Sivak and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Hong Zien, an interested exchange of views took place on current and prospective areas of cooperation in various fields. As a result, the agreements reached were recorded in the form of Minutes of the meeting.

On April 2, 2025, Uladzimir Baravikou attended the solemn opening ceremony of the international exhibition ‘Vietnam Expo 2025’, within the framework of which a large-scale collective exposition of domestic exporting enterprises has been deployed. The Belarusian-Vietnamese Business Forum was held with the participation of more than 80 business entities of the two countries. Intensive business negotiations took place, a number of contracts were concluded for the supply of goods of agricultural and chemical industries of our country.

On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Anatoli Sivak held talks with Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh with participation of the head of the diplomatic mission. The sides discussed in detail the topical issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, in particular, in the areas of automotive industry, agriculture and pharmaceuticals. The schedule and modalities of upcoming visits have been clarified.
