On the participation of Ambassador U.Baravikou in the opening ceremony of the Halong 2026 Carnival, ‘Where wonders illuminate a new era’

On April 30, 2026, at the invitation of the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou attended the opening ceremony of the Halong 2026 Carnival as a guest of honour ‘Where Wonders Illuminate a New Era’ – a series of cultural events marking the start of the tourist season in the region.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Belarusian Ambassador held a series of meetings with the leadership of Quang Ninh Province and representatives of the business community with a view to further strengthening inter-regional cooperation and implementing joint cooperation projects.

The event was widely covered by the Vietnamese media.
