On the participation of Ambassador of Belarus Ul.Baravikou in the 45th General Assembly of the ASEAN IPA

On October 19-20, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and to the Lao People's Democratic Republic (concurrently), Uladzimir Baravikou takes part in the 45th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (AIPA) in Vientiane in the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.

The Belarusian delegation is headed by Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Sergeyenko. It includes Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs of the House of Representatives, Sergei Rachkov.

During the visit, meetings are planned with the leadership of Laos, heads of parliamentary delegations.

Ahead of the opening of the ASEAN IPA session, members of the Belarusian delegation laid flowers at the memorial to former Lao President Kaysone Phomvihane, paying tribute to the outstanding Lao politician.
