On the meetings of Ambassador of Belarus Ul.Baravikou in Bangkok

On October 28, 2024, within the framework of the working visit to the Kingdom of Thailand, a meeting was held between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, Uladzimir Baravikou and Trade Representative of Thailand (with the rank of Minister), Nalinee Taveesin. A wide range of cooperation in trade and economic spheres, the possibility of increasing trade turnover between the two countries and its diversification were discussed.

On the same day, Ambassador of Belarus met with the Director General of the Department of Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Krongkanit Rakcharoen. The parties considered the state and prospects of political and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, as well as the issues of mutual support on international forums. The plans for the development of a bilateral legal framework with an emphasis on the trade and economic sphere, as well as the liberalization of visa procedures, were determined.

During his visit to Bangkok, the representative of Belarus, upon the invitation of His Majesty the King of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn, took part in the ceremonial procession of the Royal Barge Procession along the Chao Phraya River in honor of the 72nd anniversary of the Monarch.
