Meeting of the Ambassadors of Belarus and Russia with the leadership of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam

On September 17, 2026, the Ambassador of Belarus, Uladzimir Baravikou, and the Ambassador of Russia, Gennady Bezdetko, held a joint meeting with Hoang Thi Thanh Nga, Director General of the Department of International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During the talks, the parties discussed in detail cooperation within key international forums and reaffirmed their readiness to continue mutual support.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening security in the Eurasian region. The discussion took place in the context of implementing the Belarusian initiative to draft, coordinate, and adopt a Eurasian Charter for Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century. The Vietnamese side was provided with a detailed overview of the key goals and principles of the proposed document.
