Congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day of Vietnam

On September 2, 2026, President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam on Independence Day.

‘The historical journey taken by a sovereign Vietnam has forged and united the people and the Party into a single, strong state.

Minsk attaches great importance to its strategic partnership with Hanoi and looks forward to dynamic engagement through new projects and initiatives in the fields of trade, investment, science and technology, and humanitarian cooperation,’– the Belarusian leader emphasised.

Congratulatory messages were also sent to the Vietnamese leadership by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Igor Sergeyenko, Minister for Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov and Chairwoman of the Belarusian party ‘Belaya Rus’ Olga Chemodanova.
