On the participation of Ambassador of Belarus U.Baravikou in the 1st meeting of the Belarusian-Myanmar Commission on Cooperation in Science and Technology

On October 21, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar (concurrently) Uladzimir Baravikou took part in the first meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Myanmar Commission on Cooperation in Science and Technology, co-chaired by Deputy Chairperson of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Tatiana Stolyarova and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Sai Kyaw Naing Oo.

During the event, topical issues of the development of scientific and innovation cooperation were reviewed, and key priorities for bilateral cooperation for 2027–2028 were identified. Special attention was paid to the issues of mutual participation in international scientific events and the expansion of cooperation in the field of personnel training.
