Action “Belarus Remembers” held in Hanoi

On the eve of Victory Day, 7 May 2026, the Belarusian Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou together with Embassy staff, their families and representatives of the Belarusian diaspora, held an action “Belarus Remembers” in Hanoi.

A group of Belarusians took part in the ‘Immortal Regiment’ procession organised by the Russian Embassy and the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Vietnam.

The guests of honour at the events also laid the ‘Garden of Remembrance’.

In his speech before the gala concert, the head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission emphasised the decisive contribution of the peoples of the Soviet Union to the victory over Nazi Germany, drew attention to the facts of the genocide committed against the Belarusian people, and called for intensified efforts to preserve historical truth and memory.
