On participation of Ambassador U.Baravikou in the welcoming ceremony for the first direct flight to Bangkok

On October 25, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and to the Kingdom of Thailand (concurrently), Uladzimir Baravikou, took part in a formal ceremony to welcome a scheduled flight on the Minsk–Bangkok–Minsk route, operated by the Belarusian airline Belavia.

The welcoming ceremony was also attended by Belavia Director General Nikolai Cherginets, Acting General Manager of Suvarnabhumi International Airport Piraporn Sukpradit, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Bangkok Koranun Sukonritikorn, as well as representatives from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, customs and immigration authorities, and various Thai travel companies.

Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the Belavia aircraft passed through a traditional water arch.

The event received extensive coverage in both national and regional media in Thailand.
