On the participation of Ambassador U.Baravikou in an event on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese education system and the beginning of the academic year

On 5 September 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou took part in a ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese education system and the beginning of the academic year.

The event, organised by the Ministry of Education and Training, was attended by General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Manh, heads and representatives of government and administration bodies and diplomatic corps.

In his congratulatory speech, General Secretary To Lam noted the education system's significant contribution to meeting the Party, State and people's targets for the effective development of Vietnam. The Ministry's outstanding achievements in ensuring the country's socio-economic progress in 2023-2025 were honoured with the first-degree labour medal.
