On the participation of Ambassador U.Baravikou in the ceremonial events
02.09.2025Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Uladzimir Baravikou, together with the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Hanoi, took part in the ceremonial events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the independence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
On September 1, a ceremonial reception was held at the National Conference Center with the participation of the leadership of the Communist Party and the Vietnamese State. In his speech, President of Vietnam Luong Cuong expressed deep gratitude for the sincere and fair support that international friends, including the Soviet Union, provided to Vietnam in the struggle for national liberation and subsequent state building and development. Luong Cuong expressed words of gratitude to the heads of diplomatic missions of foreign states present at the reception for their contribution to strengthening friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding between the Vietnamese people and the peoples of other countries.
On September 2, Ambassador of Belarus attended a ceremonial parade at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, where 80 years ago President Ho Chi Minh read out the Declaration of Independence, laying the foundation for the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. In his speech, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam paid tribute to all those who fought for the country's independence. More than 16,000 people took part in the parade, representing various units of the Armed Forces and military equipment of the country.
