Ambassador U.Baravikou takes part in the ceremony announcing the results of the FTA INDEX 2025

On August 18, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou took part in the ceremony to announce the results of the Free Trade Agreement Implementation Index (‘FTA INDEX 2025’). This index is used to assess the efficiency of local authorities in helping businesses to take advantage of free trade agreements.

The event was attended by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Gia Tuc, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, as well as over 300 delegates, including heads of ministries, departments and people’s committees from 34 provinces and cities, representatives of the business community, foreign diplomatic missions and international organisations.

The top five regions with the best results included the cities and provinces of Haiphong, Tuyen Quang, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Dong Nai.

On the sidelines of the event, Ambassador U.Baravikou held brief discussions with a number of senior officials from various ministries, as well as representatives of foreign diplomatic missions.
