On the mutual abolition of visas for holders of ordinary passports with Myanmar

On July 8, 2026, the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on the mutual abolition of visas for holders of ordinary passports (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) enters into force.

Holders of valid national passports shall enter, stay, leave and transit the territory of one of the states without a visa, provided that the duration of their stay does not exceed 30 (thirty) days, counted from the date of entry. The total period of visa-free stay must not exceed 90 (ninety) days in a calendar year.

 Nationals of the State of one Party, who intend to stay in the territory of the State of the other Party for an uninterrupted period of more than 30 (thirty) days, regardless of the purpose of the trip, must obtain appropriate visa in advance before entering the territory of the State of the other Party.

Entry into and exit from the Republic of Belarus take place through border crossing points designated for international passenger traffic, using valid documents for traveling abroad.
