Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou takes part in the opening of the Vietnam Achievements Exhibition

On August 28, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou took part in the opening ceremony of the Exhibition of National Achievements “80 Years on the Way of Independence, Freedom and Happiness” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Independence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly President Tran Thanh Man, heads of ministries and agencies, provincial committees, representatives of the society, and the media were among the guests of honor at the recently opened National Exhibition Center in Hanoi.

The exhibition was opened by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. In his welcoming speech, the Prime Minister emphasized the scale of the unique project, which actually reflected the history of Vietnam's development over the years of independence, its successes and achievements.

The pavilion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs features a photo exhibition of materials provided by foreign countries. The Belarusian section is devoted to the history of bilateral relations, including the visits by the first President of Vietnam Ho Chi Minh and General Secretary of the Communist Party Central Committee To Lam to Minsk.

On the margins of the event there was a brief exchange of views on the bilateral agenda and international issues with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other authorities, heads of diplomatic missions.
