Ambassador Ul.Baravikou participates in meetings with the leadership of Myanmar
09.01.2025On January 9, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou as a member of the Belarusian official delegation took part in the meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov and Chairman of the State Administrative Council, Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
The parties confirmed the traditionally friendly nature of Belarus-Myanmar relations, considered the state-of-play of political, humanitarian, trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The same day, with the participation of Ambassador Ul.Baravikou, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar Than Swe.
Discussed were topical issues of political cooperation, plans to develop the bilateral legal framework with an emphasis on trade and economy. Plans for joint events in 2025 were outlined.
At the meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov with Member of the State Administration Council, Chairman of the Myanmar Economic Corporation Nyo Saw, Union Minister of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations of Myanmar Kan Zaw, Union Minister of Commerce of Myanmar Tun Ohn discussed were opportunities and prospects for implementation of joint projects on issues of mutual interest.
