Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou participates in an expert seminar on Eurasian security
26.05.2026On May 26, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou took part in an expert seminar “Eurasian Security in the Context of Diversity and Multipolarity in the World”, which was held at the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences with support and participation of the Embassies of Belarus and Russia, Foreign Ministries of both countries (online), Institute of European and American Studies of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Vietnamese analytical community.
In their remarks, Director of the Sustainable Development Department of the Directorate for Multilateral Diplomacy at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vadim Pisarevich, and Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aleksandr Trofimov presented the Belarusian-Russian initiative on adoption of the Eurasian Charter on Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century.
Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou emphasized the need for joint efforts by all interested countries of the Eurasian continent to ensure regional and global security, as well as synergy of the capabilities of international organizations and structures. Underscored was the importance of strengthening trust and mutual understanding in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
Brief talks were held with the leadership of the VAON, and the Russian diplomatic mission. Discussed were prospects for developing mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing new joint projects.
