On the meetings of Ambassador Ul.Baravikou in Vientiane

On October 21, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and to the Lao People's Democratic Republic (concurrently), Uladzimir Baravikou met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR, Bounleua Phandanouvong. The parties discussed current issues of bilateral relations and mutual support in international organizations. Particular attention was paid to the development of the legal framework between the two countries.

On the same day, Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou discussed with Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Lao PDR, Thongphath Vongmany issues of expanding cooperation in mutual supplies of agricultural and food products.

An agreement was reached with Chairwoman of the Laos — Belarus Friendship Society, Vice-President of the Lao Women's Union, Thamma Phetvixay to hold a series of joint cultural and educational events.
