Ambassador of Belarus U.Baravikou on a working visit to Laos

On December 3, 2025, during a working visit to Vientiane, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam and Laos (concurrently) Uladzimir Baravikou held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos Maythong Thammavongsa. A substantive discussion was held on further development of political cooperation, including the schedule of upcoming joint events. The parties assured each other of their continued support in international forums.

On the same day, Uladzimir Baravikou paid a courtesy call on Bunleua Phandanouvong, Head of the External Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party. The parties considered the state and prospects of political and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries and discussed the intensification of cooperation between political parties and public organisations of the two countries, including women's and youth structures.
