Ambassador of Belarus Uladzimir Baravikou participates in a festive event on behalf of the President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang on the occasion of the New Year 2025 according to the Lunar calendar

On January 20, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou attended a festive event on behalf of Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang on the occasion of the New Year 2025 according to the lunar calendar.

A brief talk was held with the President of the National Academy of Politics, where the Ambassador congratulated Nguyen Xuan Thang on the upcoming Lunar New Year, expressed appreciation for his personal contribution to enhancing cooperation between the two countries, including contacts between think tanks, also through participation of a delegation of the National Political Academy in the 2nd International Conference on Eurasian Security in Minsk and a meeting with a delegation of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies in Hanoi in 2024.

On the margins, a brief exchange of views was held with a number of representatives of the Academy’s management and teaching staff, as well as heads of diplomatic missions on issues of the international and bilateral agenda.
