On the participation of Ambassador Ul.Baravikou in the meeting of the heads of legislative bodies of Belarus and Laos

On October 20, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and to the Lao People's Democratic Republic (concurrently), Uladzimir Baravikou took part in the meeting of Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Sergeyenko with Chairman of the National Assembly of the Lao PDR, Saysomphone Phomvihane.

The parties considered a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields. An agreement was reached to intensify the work of parliamentary friendship groups.

The Memorandum of Cooperation between the Legislative Bodies of Belarus and Laos was signed in a solemn ceremony.

On the same day, Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou took part in the negotiations of the head of the Belarusian delegation with Minister of Planning and Investment of the Lao PDR, Phet Phomphiphak. An agreement was reached to hold the next meeting of the Belarusian-Lao Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation in the near future.
