Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou takes part in an event of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam

On August 29, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou together with Defense Attaché Colonel Vadim Raichionak took part in a ceremony of installation of plaques in honor of Soviet and Cuban military experts as well as laying of symbolic stones in honor of Chinese military specialists, Lao and Cambodian soldiers-internationalists in gratitude for their assistance in the struggle for Vietnam's freedom and independence.

The event at the Vietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi is timed to the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and independence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

In the presence of heads of diplomatic missions and Defense Attachés, Deputy Minister of National Defense Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien stressed the important contribution of military experts from friendly countries to the victory of the Vietnamese people, establishment and development of the sovereign and independent Vietnamese state, the People's Army of Vietnam.
