Consul General of Belarus, Ruslan Varankou, meets President of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology

On September 6, 2023, the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr Ruslan Varankou, held a meeting with the President of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Mr Mai Thanh Phong.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the state and promising areas of interaction between the HCMUT and several Belarusian universities, including students and teachers exchange, organization of joint scientific activities and making of collective scientific publications.

During the event, a video conference was also held with the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. The Belarusian University was represented by the First Vice-Rector, Maksim Davydov.

The leadership of the two universities presented the educational potential of the institutions, and also outlined steps for further interaction in the near future.

As a result, BSUIR and HCMUT signed a Memorandum on cooperation.
