Ambassador of Belarus U.Baravikou gives an interview to the media of Vietnam

On 8 May 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou gave an interview to the Vietnamese media.

Ahead of the visit to the Republic of Belarus by Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Ambassador emphasized its special symbolism. The events will take place at the background of celebration of the most important historical dates for our countries and peoples: the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification of Vietnam, the anniversary of the Vietnamese people's triumphant victory in the Battle of Dien Bien Phu, and the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet People over the Nazi invaders.

Uladzimir Baravikou noted the significance of the visit for further strengthening the Belarusian-Vietnamese relations based on the traditions of friendship, trust, mutual assistance and understanding which were laid down in the last century during the visits of the President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, Comrade Ho Chi Minh to Minsk in 1957 and 1961.
