On a working visit of Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou to Myanmar

On May 28-29, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar (concurrently) Uladzimir Baravikou paid a working visit to Myanmar.

Uladzimir Baravikou held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar Ko Ko Kyaw. The issues of inter-parliamentary, inter-party and inter-agency interaction were discussed. The ways to develop the legal framework of the two countries were explored. The schedule and details of upcoming joint events were clarified.

A ceremony to hand over “MAZ-Kupava” ambulances to the Ministry of Health of Myanmar was held with the participation of Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou and Deputy Minister of Health Aye Tun. On the sidelines of the event, issues related to registration of Belarusian medicines in Myanmar were discussed.
