Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou signs a Protocol on Organization of Cinema Exchange Days

On March 24, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou on behalf of and by order of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, together with Director of the Cinema Department of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Dang Tran Cuong signed an intergovernmental Protocol on organization of Belarusian Cinema Days in Vietnam and Vietnamese Cinema Days in Belarus.

The event was held under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam Ta Quang Dong and in the presence of national and regional media.

In his welcoming remarks, the head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission emphasized the importance of intensifying joint cultural events at this new stage of the strategic partnership between the countries to promote “people-to-people diplomacy,” as well as the uniqueness of the cinema exchange days, which will be held for the first time in the history of the bilateral relations.
