Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou participates in a meeting with the Minister of Public Security of Vietnam

On August 16, 2026, Uladzimir Baravikou, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, attended a meeting between General Luong Tam Quang, Vietnam’s Minister of Public Security, and a group of children of Belarusian police officers who had lost their lives or sustained injuries in the line of duty.
The event took place as part of a joint project between the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus to organize exchange visits for the children of law enforcement officers from both countries.
In their remarks, Minister Luong Tam Quang and Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou noted that the project serves as a bridge of friendship for Belarusian and Vietnamese youth, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the cultures and traditions of both nations.
During the event, the Belarusian Ambassador discussed the status of cooperation projects with the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, and joint steps for their further implementation were outlined.
