Ambassador of Belarus Uladzimir Baravikou attends the opening of the 6th session of the 15th convocation of the Parliament of Vietnam

On October 23, 2023, Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou attended the opening ceremony of the 6th session of the 15th convocation of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Present in the meeting hall of the Parliament were General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Nguyen Phu Trong, President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue, former and current high-ranking party and government officials of Vietnam, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam Do Van Chien, deputies, government members, leaders and representatives of the diplomatic corps.

The agenda of the session includes issues of land relations, real estate trade, housing policy, activities of credit institutions, use of water resources, development of telecommunications, management and protection of national defense facilities, security and law-enforcement, traffic rules, citizenship, etc.

It is expected that during the session the deputies of the National Assembly of the 15th convocation will adopt 9 and consider 8 more bills, as well as several draft resolutions. Reports from the Government, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Prosecutor’s office will be heard. It is planned to issue a vote of confidence to 44 representatives of government bodies.
