Belarus Embassy hosts a New Year event

On 29 December 2024, the Embassy of Belarus hosted a children's New Year celebration as part of the project ‘Belarusian School in Hanoi’.

The event was attended by children aged from 2 to 11 years old from the families of the Embassy staff, Belarusian diaspora in Hanoi, Vietnamese friends and partners.

The little participants of the ‘creative workshop’ painted plaster figures depicting fairy-tale characters, and drew pictures that will decorate the New Year's family celebration.

Cartoon films were shown and a ‘sweet table’ was organised. The atmosphere of the holiday was complemented by children's New Year songs.

The event helped children learn more about the culture and traditions of our country, find new friends, get a charge of positive emotions and impressions. Another brick was laid in the strong foundation of Belarusian-Vietnamese friendship.
