On the meeting on the margins of the 45th AIPA General Assembly

On October 19, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and to the Lao People's Democratic Republic (concurrently), Uladzimir Baravikou took part in the meetings of Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Sergeyenko with Prime Minister of the Lao PDR, Sonexay Siphandone and Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tran Thanh Man.

An interested exchange of views took place on the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, including cooperation in trade, finance, industry, agriculture, healthcare, education, culture and tourism.

The parties outlined plans for joint work in the near and medium term.
