On the meetings of Ambassador Ul.Baravikou in Vientiane

On November 28, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and to the Lao People's Democratic Republic (concurrently), Uladzimir Baravikou met with Minister of Planning and Investment of the Lao PDR, Phet Phomphiphak.

The parties discussed current issues of bilateral relations and the modalities of holding the 4th meeting of the Belarusian-Laos Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation. Prospective directions for the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries were outlined.

On the same day, Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou had a meeting with Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Lao PDR, Phouvong Luangxaysana.

An interested exchange of views was held on topical issues of natural resources use and implementation of joint projects in this area.
