Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou meets President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Tran Hong Thai

On June 3, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou met with President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Tran Hong Thai.

Discussed was the bilateral scientific and technical cooperation, including organization of exchange visits and implementation of joint projects based on the signed agreements and announced competitions. Special attention was paid to expanding cooperation in education, also training of Vietnamese specialists at Belarusian universities.

The same day, Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou took part in an online meeting between the heads of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. In his remarks, he noted the active and fruitful cooperation between the academic centers of the two countries, and emphasized the importance of fundamental research and accelerated application of its results in real life for further developing the national economies and ensuring the growth of public welfare.
