On the Participation of Belarusian Ambassador U. Baravikou in the Meeting of the Joint Belarus-Cambodia Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation

On September 30, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Uladzimir Baravikou participated in the 5th meeting of the Joint Belarus-Cambodia Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation, held in Minsk.

Co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Leonid Ryzhkovsky and Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia Tekreth Kamrang the meeting addressed promising areas of cooperation across various sectors. Participants reviewed the results of joint efforts to implement decisions from the 4th meeting of the Joint Committee and outlined further steps to develop trade and economic cooperation and increase the volume of mutual trade.

In his remarks, the Ambassador noted the positive momentum in the development of bilateral relations between Belarus and Cambodia. Highlighted the need to diversify trade and for the parties to move toward the implementation of joint cooperative projects.

Following the meeting, a protocol was signed outlining the priority areas for trade and economic cooperation.
