Condolences over the death of Tran Duc Luong

On 22 May 2025, on behalf of the Belarusian people and personally, President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed deep condolences to President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong, as well as conveyed words of support to the family and friends and all the people of Vietnam on the death of the former President Tran Duc Luong.

«Your country has lost an outstanding political figure, a true son and patriot. His services to the state and the people, his significant contribution to the social and economic development of his homeland, expansion of its foreign policy interests and circle of friends across the world are highly appreciated both in Vietnam and abroad", – Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasised.

On 24 May 2025, at the International Conference Centre in Hanoi, on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus and personally, Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou left an entry in the Book of Condolences. As part of the farewell ceremony for the former President of Vietnam Tran Duc Luong, a wreath was placed on behalf of the diplomatic corps.
